Yu Nan could feel his body being lifted, but his eyelids wouldn’t open.
He hated this feeling of being carried, as if he might fall any second. He was too scared to move.
“Put me down,” he said, struggling to open his eyes, but could only manage a small slit.
The last time he had felt this powerless was in high school when he was struggling to keep his eyes open during class.
Bei Yuye had anticipated this; he must have carried him unsteadily, causing him to wake up.
“It’s okay, Senior, we’re almost there,” he insisted, not willing to let him go.
Yu Nan didn’t feel his feet touching the ground and was very anxious. At that moment, he suddenly thought of Bei Bei: “I have a boyfriend, and he would be upset.”
Bei Yuye recalled what Yu Nan had said before about not wanting to meet in person. He retorted, “You’re not willing to meet him, so why would you be worried about him being upset?”
Yu Nan struggled a bit, and Bei Yuye, not wanting to leave a bad impression, quickly set him down safely.
Why does everyone keep talking about meeting in person lately? It seems like this term is coming up too often.
“Not meeting in person is one thing, but I do have a boyfriend. I need to maintain appropriate distance with the same sex,” he said sternly.
Bei Yuye was thrilled and covered his mouth. Nan Nan really loved him. He was planning to prepare a confession for Nan Nan.
If he found out, he would proceed with the original plan, acting surprised and then confessing directly.
If Nan Nan didn’t find out, he would keep making gestures, hoping Nan Nan would notice and ask, then continue with the original plan.
Yu Nan was initially a bit sleepy, but talking to the junior made him feel more awake. He planned to finish reading the novel before going to bed.
“Senior, you should sleep in the same room as before,” Bei Yuye suggested, surprised that Yu Nan was back here so quickly.
Yu Nan had stayed in the apartment for two nights before—one night in Bei Yuye’s room and one night in the living room.
He remembered the time they stayed in the living room and proposed, “Senior, would you like to watch a horror movie together?”
Yu Nan quickly refused, thinking that Bei Yuye was too scared and wouldn’t be a good company for a scary movie.
Bei Yuye was slightly discouraged but realized it might not be a good idea. He said, “Then you should go to bed early. I’ll wake you up for breakfast tomorrow morning.”
Yu Nan agreed, “If I’m asleep, knock on the door a few more times. I’ll definitely wake up.”
When he returned to his room, he found a message from Bei Bei. He replied, “Not asleep yet, planning to finish reading the novel before going to bed.”
Bei Bei: “What novel?”
Yu Nan recommended the novel to Bei Bei: “It’s really sweet.”
Bei Yuye searched for “White Dress Wrong Love” and confirmed the title.
Yu Nan continued to recommend: “Even though the title doesn’t sound great, the content is really good.”
He admired kitty Sister again. If the title had appeared in front of him, he wouldn’t have clicked on it.
He tagged her: “I recommended the novel ‘White Dress Wrong Love’ to my boyfriend.”
Kitty: “He won’t think you’re testing him, right?”
Yu Nan was confused: “Testing him for what?”
Kitty: “Maybe he’ll think you want him to wear a dress.”
Yu Nan fell silent and messaged Bei Bei: “I don’t mean for you to wear a dress.”
Kitty: “After all, you’re the ‘tough’ one, right?”
Yu Nan only then realized that she was joking and felt like a fool for sending that message to Bei Bei.
Yu Nan: “I went to explain to my boyfriend.”
Kitty: “Explain what?”
Yu Nan: “Explain that I don’t want him to wear a dress.”
Kitty: “Wow, you recommended a cross-dressing novel to him and emphasized that you don’t want him to wear a dress.”
Doggo chimed in: “This is like ‘burying silver without saying it’.”
Yu Nan was at a loss and switched back to his conversation with Bei Bei.
Bei Bei: “Okay, I haven’t worn a dress before either.”
Yu Nan sighed with relief, knowing Bei Bei wouldn’t overthink it.
Meanwhile, Bei Yuye was already searching for large-size dresses. He wanted to give Nan Nan a surprise—a white dress that he liked. He had to arrange it.
Even though he had never worn a dress, if Nan Nan really wanted to see it, he would struggle a bit internally but would accept any request from him.
He quickly skimmed through the novel and noted the key words: white dress, motorcycle, and tongue piercings.
He planned to confess to Nan Nan while wearing a white dress and riding a motorcycle. Nan Nan had specifically mentioned wanting to see it, so he imagined himself in a dress and felt it would be quite a sight.
He worried that if Nan Nan saw him in a dress and thought it was ugly, it might lead to a breakup. He began to feel conflicted.
Yu Nan: “Forget it, this is like ‘burying silver without saying it’.”
Kitty: “Have you chosen the ring?”
Yu Nan: “Yes, and I engraved his initials on it.”
Kitty: “Your online romance is interesting. You even engraved his username on the ring.”
Doggo: “Shouldn’t you engrave your own username on it?”
Yu Nan wasn’t sure about this, but it didn’t matter much since it was already engraved.
Kitty: “So your ring has your own username engraved on it?”
Yu Nan typed: “No, I didn’t buy a ring.”
Doggo sent a voice message, and Yu Nan played it.
“Couples don’t usually buy just one ring.”
Yu Nan replied: “I don’t like wearing accessories.”
Kitty: “It’s clear you have no intention of meeting in person. Would you be willing to wear a dress for us to see?”
Yu Nan hadn’t considered this question: “I think it would be interesting with a contrast, like @Watch the Sword @Milk Tea @Doggo wearing it.”
Doggo: “I’ve worn a maid outfit before.”
Yu Nan: “???”
Doggo: “Kitty said I looked cool in it, so I believed her.”
Kitty must be quite playful, Yu Nan thought, giving her a mental thumbs up. A true role model.
He continued to browse for the white dress. The white dress was about to be torn off by the motorcycle guy, and the motorcycle guy was about to overpower it.
The intimate scenes and entanglements excited him.
He quickly sent a voice message to Bei Bei.
“Bei Bei, let’s read the novel together,” he wanted to discuss the plot with him.
Bei Yuye instinctively raised his voice: “Okay, I’ve reached Chapter 62, baby.”
No wonder Nan Nan never recognized his voice; he realized that every time he talked to him, he couldn’t help but raise his voice. Was there anything wrong with that? He simply loved him.
“How did you read so fast? I’m still on Chapter 36,” Yu Nan marveled.
Bei Yuye flipped back to Chapter 36: “I’m on Chapter 36 now too.”
“Bei Bei, are you reading?” Yu Nan asked.
Bei Yuye wasn’t skimming this time; he read the text carefully: “I am.”
“Do you like it? The tongue piercings,” Yu Nan asked shyly.
The novel described in detail how the sensation of tongue piercings was different in various parts.
Bei Yuye’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. What was Nan Nan expecting? A close kiss between them in the future?
“You know, I like whatever you like. I can get it done,” he said.
Yu Nan’s ears perked up as if a feather had brushed his heart.
“Can we do a video call? I want to see you,” he cooed.
Bei Yuye replied, “I’m going to take a shower.”
Yu Nan couldn’t help but get excited: “Let me see you shower!”
Hearing the movement as Bei Yuye got up, he held his breath, waiting for the screen to show the video. His mouth curled into a smile. “I love you so much, Bei Bei.”
Bei Yuye adjusted the camera, hoping Nan Nan wouldn’t see his face but also hoping he would. Men in love were so conflicted.
He remembered that the first time they had a video call, Nan Nan had accidentally touched the camera and was scared. He had only seen a fleeting white shadow.
To help him relax, Bei Yuye had turned on the camera, and then Nan Nan had started asking to see this and that.
The camera soon fogged up, but Yu Nan still wanted to watch. The misty image of a handsome man in the bath, he secretly took a screenshot.
“Bei Bei, did you ever screenshot our videos?” Yu Nan’s heart skipped a beat, realizing Bei Bei might have said he recorded them.
Bei Yuye’s unclear voice came through: “I record all the videos.”
Yu Nan’s heart raced. Online, it was said that undressing during a video call could lead to being caught, and this guy had recorded everything.
“Do you want it? I’ll send you a copy,” Bei Yuye added.
Yu Nan hesitated: “Okay, I want it.”
“You wouldn’t send it to anyone else, right?” he asked anxiously.
Bei Yuye paused his hand washing. He leaned closer to the screen: “I wouldn’t want to show you to anyone else.”
“What if we break up? What will happen to the video?” he remained worried.
Bei Yuye pouted and said sadly: “We won’t break up. We’ll watch it together after we meet in person.”
“You’re shameless,” Yu Nan said, his face turning red.
Bei Yuye huffed: “You’re shameless too. After I finish showering, we’ll review the old videos together.”
“I’m sending it to you now,” he said, drying his hands and sending the video package.
He also reminded Yu Nan: “Baby, I’ve sent the cloud storage link. The password is the day we confirmed our relationship.”
Yu Nan rarely used cloud storage, except for accessing less respectable content.
Seeing their videos sent this way was a bit hard for him to accept.
He entered the password and randomly clicked on a video.
“Nan Nan, are you still watching me?” Bei Yuye didn’t hear his response.
Yu Nan replied: “I’m watching. I’m looking at the video and saw your little brother. Please enlarge the frame when you record these.”
“You really are shameless,” Bei Yuye could only muster that response.
Yu Nan pouted: “You’re also shameless, doing a video call while showering.”
Bei Yuye, feeling amused by Yu Nan’s reaction, wondered what kind of expression he had hen saying this.
In real life, Yu Nan seemed indifferent to everything, but when he said those unrestrained things to Bei Yuye, he must be special to him.
The large frame of Bei Yuye’s recording mostly showed him, with Bei Yuye’s frame in a small corner. Yu Nan felt peak embarrassment watching these videos.
He couldn’t stand watching them anymore and smiled at him: “Hehe.”
“Want to see more?” Bei Yuye could guess his thoughts from his laughter. He lowered the camera angle.
Yu Nan pretended to be surprised: “Why are you so shameless?”
Bei Yuye quickly adjusted the angle back.
“Watching, I’m watching,” Yu Nan said anxiously.
“I’m embarrassed now.”
“I’m not embarrassed. I want to watch,” Yu Nan said angrily.
