It's a Gender-Reversed World, But I Don't Go Out Anyway - Chapter 24
Chapter 24: Advertisement Broadcast
***
[I’m so tired these days]
I’m not saying I’m taking a break, but somehow I feel tired no matter how much I sleep. At this rate, I might end up taking an unplanned 24-hour sleep break?
[Comments]
– Don’t try to pull that trick lol
– Speaking seriously, try changing to Matrix bedding. It’ll change your sleep quality
ㄴ What’s gonna change about sleep? Oh my, oh my
ㄴ Get lost from my comment
– Seriously, try buying Urusa[1]. Fatigue really is because of the liver
ㄴ Really? Does Daeju need Urusa at such a young age?
ㄴ These days young people have more messed up insides lol
– Broadcast comes before your body. Always remember that.

Why are my viewers so knowledgeable about everything yet somehow half out of their minds?
At the mention of bedding, I turned around to see my humble sleeping space. The mattress, blanket, and pillow I bought when I first started living alone were the cheapest ones available online, so the quality wasn’t good. Back then, I thought spending expensive money on blankets and pillows was unthinkable for someone living alone.
I searched for bedding sets online.
“Wow… what’s all this?”
There were beddings used by famous hotels, and pillows that would conform to your head shape the moment you laid down. The beds with good ratings seemed a bit too luxurious for my one-room apartment, but they had nice storage spaces, and the reviews all said they were the best, that they got proper sleep for the first time in months – these comments captivated me.
The problem was that the prices for beds and bedding were much higher than I’d expected.
Actually, I had my own insurance for this.
[Advertisement Guidelines]
I checked the email titled “Nexon’s Advertisement Guidelines” in my inbox.
The email contained guidelines for advertising broadcasts, including deposit details, broadcast script, and content that needed to be used during the one-hour stream.
Checking my bank account through the app, I saw a large sum of 1.5 million won had been deposited.
The reason it was 1.5 million instead of 1 million was because the advertisement broadcast requested purchasing the most expensive package for 500,000 won, and they had included that gacha cost in advance.
With this large sum, I could buy a bedding set and experience the luxury of hotel bedding in my one-room apartment.
For today’s advertisement broadcast, I left a post on Tgether.

[Guys, I’m doing an ad broadcast today, so you know what that means]
Time to play “Read the Room: The Game.”
Please watch with compliments.
Otherwise, I won’t be able to buy my hotel bedding set
[Comments]
– You want us to hold back our chat because of your down feather blanket and pillow? Hmm…
– Well, it’s not particularly difficult~ But shouldn’t there be give and take~?
ㄴ Well… I don’t expect much but… hehe
– Why should I make an effort for your blanket and pillow when I’m not even going to share them with you
ㄴ Right lol unless you let us share the blanket
ㄴ Then we’ll give complimentary chat messages too lolol

Despite what they say, they’ll be supportive once the broadcast starts.
I had to believe that, otherwise I couldn’t start streaming.
[Daeha]
[Wow, this really looks fun!]
[As expected! The masterpiece of the century shows its class from the start!]
[Calm down, Daeju hasn’t even said hello yet and you’re already mindlessly praising]
[Oh right]
Eager viewers were already praising the game that wasn’t even visible yet. Fortunately, they were being cooperative with the broadcast, but I wasn’t sure if this was really okay. Before greeting, I launched the game I had received in advance.
[Oh]
[Can we praise now?]
[Wait a bit more]
Other streamers doing advertisement broadcasts started appearing one by one. Since the game was still in pre-registration and it was a new release from a famous game company, many viewers were paying attention despite it being an advertisement broadcast.
Actually, my broadcast had nearly a thousand viewers, much more than usual.
By now, I didn’t get nervous about the number of viewers anymore, but the fact that this was an advertisement broadcast made me tense.
“Hello everyone! This is Daeju!”
[??? Uh… hi…]
[What’s with the tension]
[lololol ah, nice to meet you^^]
[Seems really excited.]
I tried to shake off my nervousness and act excited, but seeing how the viewers’ reactions weren’t very good, I just returned to my usual energy level.
“Everyone, I’ve received an advertisement to bring you Nexon’s new game.”
[Oh]
[An ad from such an esteemed place for such a humble person]
[Nexon’s new game oh I can’t resist this lol]
[The music is good]
To be honest, the game itself didn’t look particularly special.
It felt like a mobile MMORPG with good graphics, equipped with auto-hunting, and a game that constantly shows you getting stronger through combat power numbers. If there was anything special, it might be how aggressively they commissioned advertisements from many streamers.
Actually, most of the high-viewer Twis game streamers were advertising this game.
And I was included among them
“Now, shall we choose a class first?”
Most were ordinary classes.
Warrior, Archer, Mage, Priest, Assassin.
I was about to choose Assassin, which looked the most flashy and fun, but
[Jia was playing this too]
[Right lol YouTubers all chose this class too]
[Is this class OP right now, is that why everyone’s picking it?]
[Isn’t it just because this one’s the most flashy? Honestly the other classes have kinda poor effects…]
“You thought I would, right? No way, straight to Warrior!”
Since it seemed like everyone else was thinking the same thing and choosing Assassin, I immediately picked a different class. I chose Warrior, which was mentioned less in the chat. After all, if it’s an advertisement, you should show various aspects.
[Ah feels reliable lolol]
[A warrior doesn’t need to be flashy gg]
[It’s nice to have a warrior steadily dealing damage while taking hits]
[Is warrior a masochist?]
[?]
There wasn’t much special at the beginning.
To be honest, it was just watching animations while clicking auto-move while following the story.
The story was really nothing special.
A peaceful continent, suddenly appearing monsters, and an awakened protagonist.
[Skip it]
[Skip?]
[No way, would they skip during an ad broadcast lol]
“I’ll skip it.”
[They’re doing it?]
There was nothing in the email about paying close attention to the story, and with only an hour for the advertisement broadcast, I thought even the advertiser would find it wasteful to spend time on this.
After skipping, the hunting finally began.
Auto-combat wasn’t available at first, so you had to play manually until reaching a certain level, but maybe because I don’t usually play mobile games, I was satisfied with the better-than-expected effects. Of course, it was a bit plain compared to regular computer online games, but isn’t this good enough?
“This is pretty decent for a mobile game, right?”
[It seems okay…?]
[Agreed for mobile, but who’s going to play this on mobile? Everyone will probably play on computer lol]
[It does look high-spec…]
[But the motions in other recent games seem smoother?]
[And these early warrior skills look familiar from somewhere…]
Maybe because there were so many gamers, the atmosphere quickly turned to analyzing and comparing what aspects were better.
I don’t dislike this atmosphere, but it was a bit concerning during an advertisement broadcast. They might be monitoring my broadcast right now.
“Guys?”
[It must be high-spec? The optimization seems like it would be excellent!]
[Everything except the warrior motions is the best in this game]
[This should be nominated for Forbes’ Game of the Year]
[Well, warrior skills are all similar anyway lol]
They came to their senses at my word.
And then appeared the mobile game’s greatest source of revenue and gamers’ enemy.
The gacha.
[The first free gacha is the standard]
[But what’s there to gacha in an MMORPG? At least weeb games let you draw characters]
[Try getting weapons and avatars through gacha^^]
[At this point I’d rather spend money on weeb games…]
[Why does seeing gacha make me angry?]
Some gamers started getting excited again at the appearance of gacha.
At times like this, you calm them down by rolling the gacha. Why does this calm them? Because watching others spend money is quite entertaining.
“Rolling right now!”
[Oh lololol]
[All garbage lololol]
[How do you not get even one 5-star weapon when there are even 6-star weapons?]
[Time to whale?]
The package contents included 200 drawing tickets, avatars, and mysterious materials anyway, so I could do more gacha rolls with the drawing tickets that came with buying the package.
“Let’s buy this package”
[??? But that’s such a waste of money]
[Sometimes when I see Daeju spending money on games like this, he actually looks like a game streamer]
[Daeju is just a chatting streamer lol]
[How much did he get paid for the ad to buy a 500,000 won package OMG;;;]
“Now let’s do the gacha~”
[These odds are messed up]
[Only 1 five-star out of 200 draws, really?]
[lololol is this supposed to be a skill-based game?]
[At this rate Daeju should return the ad money lololol showing us the truth about gacha rates]
“No… Doesn’t it usually drop better? Maybe it’s just not working for me?”
[Nope, never doing gacha in this game~]
[But how is it for other streamers?]
[Not this bad but lololol]
Complete disaster.
Originally, I was planning to continue the advertisement broadcast with an exaggerated reaction when a good 6-star appeared during the gacha, but I hadn’t expected to get such bad results out of 200 draws. Never mind the broadcast, how am I supposed to edit this?
“Um, Editor-nim. Fighting!”
[lololol solve it yourself~]
[Why should the editor work hard because the streamer has bad luck ㅠㅠ]
[Isn’t there some labor law violation we can sue for?]
[If I sue Daeju, can I see his face in court?]
[You’re a genius!!!]
“It’s been an hour… so I’ll end the advertisement broadcast here.”
I turned off the game with a worried heart.
