- Chapter 21 - Mr. Fu After Drinking
Fu Tingzhou didn’t expect the young man to say such words, and paused before reacting.
The young man’s cheeks were flushed, and there was a hint of pink on his neck. He wisely stopped teasing, afraid that if he continued, the young man would be too embarrassed to lift his head.
“Let’s go, Tang Che has reserved a table at Shanshi Jia, let’s go straight there.”
Shen Yunxing nodded.
Mr. Fu’s friends, he had only met Dr. Liu, Tang Che had heard of him, but today was the first time he met him.
The car drove all the way to Shanshi Jia, and half an hour later, the three met in a private room.
“Finally here, it’s really hard to invite you, you Buddha statue, it’s harder to arrange a dinner than dealing with that scoundrel Liu Huaijin.” Tang Che looked at his childhood friend and joked.
After that, he waved to the young man standing behind him and made a gesture: “Hello, it’s our first meeting and I don’t know what you like. Here’s a new men’s watch. I hope you’ll like it.”
Tang Che thought Shen Yunxing wouldn’t accept it, but he didn’t expect the other party to graciously take it and said thank you.
The box containing the watch was exquisite and beautiful, with a brand name that Shen Yunxing had never seen before. He opened the box and took a look. The watch inside was slightly smaller than the one Mr. Fu wore on his wrist, with a few scattered diamonds on the dial, which was understated yet luxurious.
Although he didn’t know its exact value, since it was a gift from Mr. Fu’s friend, it was naturally of good quality.
“Thank you, Tang Ge, I really like it.” He accepted the watch gracefully.
Tang Che nodded in satisfaction: “No wonder Tingzhou chased you all the way to Yuncity, I like your personality.”
Shen Yunxing glanced at the man beside him. It seemed that Mr. Fu hadn’t told him about his pregnancy, so he didn’t explain their relationship and let the other party misunderstand.
“We’re all family, feel free to sit.” Tang Che invited.
The food at Shanshi Jia was not as good as at Liunchun Garden. Shen Yunxing ate until he was eighty percent full and then stopped eating, listening carefully to the conversation between the two men.
“Old Fu, didn’t your kid act in a web drama a few days ago? When will the drama be broadcast? Do you need me to help boost the ratings?” Tang Che asked.
Fu Tingzhou shook his head: “It’s just a small web drama, there’s no need to go to such lengths. If you do that, when Yunxing becomes famous in the future, it might become a hidden danger.”
“That’s true.”
Tang Che raised his glass and clinked it with him, then turned to look at Shen Yunxing: “Have you decided which company to join? Although your boyfriend is the boss of Shengshi Entertainment, you can also choose to come to Tang Yao. The split is negotiable. Your boyfriend is my brother, so let’s split it fifty-fifty.”
Fu Tingzhou glanced at him expressionlessly and said, “Are you trying to snatch someone away in front of me, do you think I’m dead?”
Tang Che poured him a glass of wine and said with a smile, “Don’t worry, let’s hear what the kid has to say first. Maybe he wants to come to my place.”
So the two of them turned their heads to look at Shen Yunxing at the same time.
Feeling Mr. Fu’s gaze, Shen Yunxing’s heart suddenly jumped.
The man was probably a bit drunk, his consciousness still clear but with a hint of haze in his eyes, his determined expression refusing to give in made his heart beat faster.
“I’ll listen to Mr. Fu,” he said obediently.
“Boring.” Tang Che raised his glass and drank, then with a tongue slightly thick from alcohol, he said, “You two are one, I’m just redundant to ask.”
“Good to know,” Fu Tingzhou said coolly.
“Old Fu, I’ve noticed you’ve changed since you started dating. You used to call people ‘sweetie’, but now with little Yunxing, you don’t even give people a good face.” Tang Che propped up his chin, raised his eyebrows, intentionally teasing him.
The latter not only didn’t give him a good face, but didn’t even give him a glance, closing his eyes to ease the discomfort caused by alcohol.
Fu Tingzhou rarely got drunk, unless he was in front of friends. Once his mind relaxed, half a bottle of alcohol could make him dizzy.
Shen Yunxing, worried, ordered two bowls of sobering soup from the waiter.
“Mr. Fu, have some sobering soup.” After a while, he leaned over and whispered.
The latter’s consciousness was somewhat muddled, he opened his eyes and stared at him for a moment before slowly nodding.
“Thank you.” After speaking, he drank the whole bowl of sobering soup.
Shen Yunxing blinked, somewhat surprised that Mr. Fu, after getting drunk, could be so well-behaved.
“Mr. Fu, do you want some pasta?” He picked up a forkful of pasta and put it in the man’s bowl, tentatively asking.
“Okay.”
Seeing that the man didn’t refuse, Shen Yunxing became interested in feeding him, picking out dishes he thought were delicious and putting them one by one into the man’s bowl. Seeing the man finish everything, the dimples on both sides of his cheeks deepened.
“Mr. Fu, this dish is also very delicious, try it.”
He hadn’t finished feeding, but the man stared at him and refused to eat.
“I’m full.” Fu Tingzhou frowned slightly, looking somewhat embarrassed.
Shen Yunxing paused, then handed the man a glass of water to moisten his throat.
“Are you guys torturing me?” Tang Che woke up at some point, holding an empty bottle of wine in his arms, looking pitifully at the two people who were deep in eye contact.
Shen Yunxing blushed and quickly withdrew his hand back to the table.
“Tang Ge, you’re awake.”
The latter struggled to turn his neck a few times. “If I hadn’t woken up, were you planning to leave me hanging here all night?”
After lying on the table for a while, his neck was sore. If he stayed like that all day, it would probably break.
“Any objections?” Fu Tingzhou glanced at him.
“I dare not, sir.” Tang Che smiled awkwardly, muttering under his breath, “Heartless bastard with no humanity.”
Fu Tingzhou, slightly slower in his drunken state than usual, took a while to react to his muttering.
He glared expressionlessly at Tang Che, then raised his wrist to check the time.
Ten fifty.
He frowned. Was it already this late?
“The room has been arranged long ago.” Tang Che took out a room card from his pocket and tossed it to him, rubbing his throbbing forehead, and said, “Eighth floor, room 808.”
Fu Tingzhou reached out to catch it. “Thanks.”
“Why so polite, spring nights are short,” Tang Che flirted with him, three seconds of seriousness before starting to act up again, “It’s not good to keep the little cutie waiting too long~”
Fu Tingzhou glanced at him, calmly pulled out his phone from his pocket, and started dialing.
Tang Che’s eyelids jumped. He sat up straight, looking slightly nervous, and asked, “Fu, who are you calling?”
“Liu Huaijin.”
Tang Che’s heart skipped a beat.
“Damn it! Stop it!”
“Fu, if you dare to call that lunatic, our brotherhood will be over from today!”
Fu Tingzhou raised an eyebrow. “That’s what I want.”
“Damn it, Fu, I’m sorry, okay?” Tang Che pulled a bitter face, raised his hand in surrender, and said, “Please, please don’t call.”
Shen Yunxing saw Mr. Fu put away his phone, revealing a victorious smile, and couldn’t help but smile too.
Mr. Fu, after getting drunk, not only became much more obedient, but his reactions were also much more interesting than usual.
Suddenly, he recalled the night a few months ago, his ears turning red, and silently added in his heart: “The breath was warm, the kiss was warm, and the temperature of the palm was much higher than usual.
Even now, thinking about it still made his heart beat wildly, trembling uncontrollably…
