Pregnant With The Pup Of A Wealthy Old Man - Chapter 38
Shen Yunxing, who claimed he wasn’t sleepy, fell asleep holding two household registration books just half an hour into the journey.
Fu Tingzhou shook his head and chuckled, driving the car to the nearest gas station. He covered the boy with a blanket before continuing on the road.
Two hours later, the car stopped in front of Xinlan Villa.
“Yunxing, we’re home,” Fu Tingzhou called softly to the boy.
Shen Yunxing wasn’t deeply asleep to begin with, so he quickly woke up when the man called him. He rubbed his eyes and looked out the car window, fully awake before the man led him into the villa by the wrist.
“What do you want for lunch?” Fu Tingzhou asked.
Shen Yunxing replied, “I want to drink Mr. Fu’s pork rib soup.” It had been days since he had tasted Mr. Fu’s cooking, and he was starting to crave it.
Fu Tingzhou smiled. “Alright.”
Stewing pork rib soup took a lot of time. While the soup was simmering, Fu Tingzhou made some snacks for the boy to tide him over. It wasn’t until nearly midnight that they formally sat down for the meal.
Shen Yunxing was preoccupied with the registration matter, eating snacks absentmindedly. After Mr. Fu finished his busy work, he casually asked, “Mr. Fu, when are we going to the Civil Affairs Bureau?”
“In the afternoon. The staff have already gone off work by now,” Fu Tingzhou said with a smile, noticing the urgency in the boy’s eyes.
He had to wait until the afternoon. Shen Yunxing hung his head regretfully. If only he hadn’t fallen asleep in the car, he and Mr. Fu could have gone directly to the Civil Affairs Bureau to register for marriage.
It was only half past twelve after lunch, and he had slept all the way here. He wasn’t sleepy at noon, but Mr. Fu had driven for nearly three hours. So he accompanied Mr. Fu to lie down for a while, and when the man fell asleep, he opened his eyes wide without any sleepiness.
Fu Tingzhou woke up after about half an hour, holding the boy’s back and lightly rubbing his chin against the top of his head. His voice was still hoarse from just waking up.
“You haven’t been sleeping?”
“Yeah, not sleepy.” Shen Yunxing looked up at the man’s chin and said, “Mr. Fu, are you awake now?”
Awake, they should go to the Civil Affairs Bureau.
Fu Tingzhou heard the hidden meaning in the boy’s words. He smiled lightly, then said, “Get up and pack. We’ll leave for the Civil Affairs Bureau shortly.”
Shen Yunxing’s eyes lit up.
“Okay!”
He quickly finished packing himself up. On the way to the Civil Affairs Bureau with Mr. Fu, he felt nervous and excited. After about half an hour, they finally saw the office building with the three characters “Civil Affairs Bureau” written on it.
The two were lucky; there were only fewer than ten people ahead of them.
Shen Yunxing was holding Mr. Fu’s wrist, standing behind the crowd. Occasionally, he received strange looks from strangers, but he straightened his back and looked straight back.
“Husband, there are two homosexuals behind us,” he heard the girl in front whispering, her tone tinged with disgust.
“What’s wrong with homosexuals? The country recognized same-sex marriage as legal a few years ago,” her boyfriend replied.
“I know, although it’s legally recognized, it’s still not mainstream. Many people can’t accept it. It’s disgusting to see them so openly holding hands to register for marriage.”
Shen Yunxing’s face darkened. He let go of Mr. Fu’s hand and walked up to the woman, saying coldly, “Please take back what you just said.”
“I… I didn’t say anything.” The woman was stunned. With someone backing her up, she straightened her chest. “Why are you so fierce? Husband, he’s bullying me!”
“Ruan Xin!”
The woman wanted her husband to speak up for her, but the man had no intention of doing so. Instead, he gritted his teeth and scolded her.
“I’ll say it again. Homosexuals are also human beings. They are no different from us. As long as two people love each other, that’s enough. There’s no need to live under others’ eyes.” The man was obviously angry, his voice much louder than before.
“My sister-in-law is a man. I told you clearly before we got together. It was you who said you didn’t mind that I agreed to be with you.”
“Excuse me, are you here to register for marriage?” the staff asked.
“No,” the man said.
“Husband?” The woman was dumbfounded.
“I think this marriage is a bit rushed. Let’s go back and think about it seriously.” After saying that, the man left without any nostalgia, leaving only the woman standing bewildered.
“Sorry, please make way,” Fu Tingzhou said coldly.
“Blame you two! If it weren’t for you disgusting pair of…” The woman wanted to vent her anger on Shen Yunxing, but when she looked up and saw Fu Tingzhou’s icy gaze, she shivered and couldn’t speak another word.
“Are you here to register for marriage?” After the commotion settled down, the staff asked.
Fu Tingzhou nodded and smiled as he watched the young man hand over his household registration book and prepared documents to the staff.
“Oh, getting married at eighteen. Do your family members know? Did you sneak this household registration book out?” The staff joked upon seeing the just-turned-adult young man and the other one significantly older.
“They know, and no, I didn’t steal it,” Shen Yunxing replied.
The staff member was reassured, unaware that Shen Yunxing and his older brother Shen Yunshu’s household registration books had been transferred out on their adulthood day, and both brothers kept their own registration books.
“Congratulations.” After stamping the seal, the staff handed over the two red marriage certificates. Seeing the young age of the boy, she couldn’t help but say, “Don’t let that couple who fought just now scare you. Nowadays, which couple doesn’t argue? You might argue more seriously than them in the future… Oh, sorry, my mouth.”
“Thank you, but we won’t argue,” Shen Yunxing said solemnly, placing the marriage certificates into his bag and smiling at the people.
Knowing Mr. Fu for so long, he hasn’t seen Mr. Fu arguing with anyone, and he has a “hostage” in hand now. Not to mention arguing, the man rarely even speaks aloud to him.
Carrying the marriage certificate just out of the Civil Affairs Bureau building, Shen Yunxing was stopped by a girl.
“Hello, are you Xu Fei?” The girl blushed and said excitedly.
Seeing Shen Yunxing nod, she almost jumped for joy.
“Ah, it’s really Xingxing!” The girl whispered in excitement, catching sight of the man standing beside Shen Yunxing, somewhat restrained but still gathering courage. “I’m your fan. I just joined [Health Care Club] yesterday!”
Health Care Club? Shen Yunxing felt it sounded familiar and took a few seconds to remember that the name had appeared in the Cloud Drama Bar.
“Could you please sign this for me?” the girl asked.
“Sure,” Shen Yunxing smiled. He thought to himself: I didn’t expect to have fans now.
“Um, are you here to register for marriage too?” the girl couldn’t help but ask.
“Yes.” After signing, Shen Yunxing handed the notebook back to the girl and winked at her. “I haven’t planned to make this public yet, so I’d appreciate it if you could keep it a secret.”
The girl nodded eagerly. “Of course! I promise not to tell anyone else!”
The girl was dizzy with Shen Yunxing’s smile. After the two left in the car, she suddenly remembered she was here to get the marriage certificate! Her boyfriend had been waiting in the lobby for half a day and almost thought his wife had run away.
On the way home, Shen Yunxing held the two red certificates, and the smile on his lips never faded.
He was married to Mr. Fu now, and from now on, he would be Mr. Fu’s legal husband!
Fu Tingzhou glanced sideways, seeing the dimples on the young man’s cheeks, and his lips curled up in response.
Twenty minutes later.
“We’re home,” Fu Tingzhou said, watching the young man who had been smiling foolishly all the way, and reminded him with a smile.
“Mr. Fu, can I keep these marriage certificates myself?” Shen Yunxing hugged the marriage certificate and was reluctant to let go.
Fu Tingzhou nodded. “Sure.”
Shen Yunxing breathed a sigh of relief. He thought Mr. Fu might take the marriage certificates away from him.
After getting off the car, he followed the man cheerfully into the villa. Passing by the security booth, he waved and greeted the security guard with a sweet smile.
“Why are you so happy?” Fu Tingzhou asked knowingly.
“Because I finally helped Mr. Fu,” Shen Yunxing said seriously, but his heart had a different answer.
“So that’s it,” Fu Tingzhou nodded, looking at the young man’s serious appearance, his eyes filled with deeper amusement.
The appointment with the Fu family’s old house was scheduled for Friday, but Fu Tingzhou was too lazy to come back again and wanted to settle the matter before returning.
After dinner with the boy at six o’clock and settling him down, he drove to the old house.
At the Fu family’s old house, the phone was answered by Fu Tingzhou’s uncle, Fu Yuehe.
“Dad, why did this kid come early? He’s here now, and Fu Jiaming can’t come back,” Fu Yuehe said anxiously.
“What can be done? Can I not let him come?” Lao Fu was angry. His elder brother’s grandson had ideas since childhood. Since the accident of Yue Shan and his wife, no one has listened to him, and Lao Tang, who had no blood relationship, was more effective than him.
This is not what makes him the most angry, but what makes him the most angry is that Fu Tingzhou actually found a man who would not have children in their Fu family.
