Pregnant With The Pup Of A Wealthy Old Man - Chapter 52.1
Chapter 52: I Love You
Outside the Sena-Marne Province residential area, Shen Yunxing reluctantly said goodbye to Mr. Fu before carrying the repackaged supplements home. These supplements were prepared by Mr. Fu a long time ago. The original packaging looked very expensive, and his mother would definitely ask where they came from if she saw them. To avoid this, he changed them to a more ordinary packaging.
When he got home, as expected, Mother Shen didn’t ask about the supplements. She just reminded him not to spend money recklessly and to save the money he earned from acting for his future marriage.
Shen Yunxing thought: I’ve got a wife and kid already, and the mother of my child is a “rich and beautiful” man (^^)~
“Mom, you shouldn’t sit for too long; it’ll affect your blood circulation,” he reminded her.
“I know, I’ll go back in after sitting for a bit,” Mother Shen said, feeling a bit heartbroken as she looked at her younger son’s sharp chin. “Why are you so thin again? Is the food at school not to your liking?”
“No, my next role requires me to be a bit thinner, so I’m controlling my weight on purpose.”
He was eating a lot now, but all the nutrients were being absorbed by the little one in his belly, so he couldn’t gain weight. But he wasn’t lying to his mother; his new role indeed required him to control his weight.
“Thank you for your hard work, son,” his mother said, stroking his head.
“It’s not hard at all. Acting is something I love to do, and as an actor, I should be responsible to myself and the audience since I get paid so well.” He smiled.
“The show where you played Assassin A, I didn’t miss a single episode. You acted really well. The neighbors always ask for your autograph, saying it might sell for seven or eight thousand if you get famous.” Mother Shen joked, “I ignored them. My son is going to be a Best Actor one day; his autograph will be worth way more than that.”
Shen Yunxing also smiled with squinted eyes: “Exactly, one day I’ll give you a stack of my autographs, and you can give them to whoever you like and feel what it’s like to be the mom of a big star.”
“You two can boast all you want, but there’s no Best Newcomer Actor award yet. Becoming a Best Actor is way harder than a newcomer award, and with our son’s acting skills, I think it’s doubtful.” Father Shen chimed in.
“Nobody would think you were mute if you didn’t speak.” Mother Shen glared at him. “How do you know Yunxing hasn’t won an award yet? Maybe they haven’t announced the winners yet.”
“How do I know? I spent two hours watching the live broadcast of the award ceremony; that’s how I know.” Father Shen was annoyed as he spoke. He felt he had wasted two hours; he could have spent that time voting for his son on Weibo’s “Most Handsome Newcomer” poll.
The couple had been bickering for decades, and Shen Yunxing was used to it. This was just how his parents interacted. On the surface, it looked like they were arguing, but in reality, they were showing affection. He had eaten countless bags of their “dog food” over the years.
After they had argued for about ten minutes, Shen Yunxing, feeling stuffed with their “dog food,” interrupted: “Dad, Mom, there’s no ‘Best Newcomer Award’ in that drama.”
“Oh, really? Well, I’ll go check if the meat in the kitchen is thawed.” Father Shen said awkwardly, backing out of the living room.
“Son, don’t listen to your dad’s nonsense. Even if you didn’t win an award, you’re always the best in my eyes.” Mother Shen winked at him, pointing towards the kitchen. “He was secretly voting for you on Weibo yesterday. That old tsundere thought I didn’t know.”
“Voting?” Shen Yunxing was puzzled.
“Some netizens created a ‘Most Handsome Newcomer Award.’ Your dad called all the relatives to vote for you. He even created a group chat for it.”
Shen Yunxing was stunned. His dad had done so much behind his back.
“Mom, let’s pretend we don’t know.” He smiled, imagining how embarrassed his father would be if he found out.
“Your dad is an old tsundere. He always pretends to dislike things, but he cares the most.” Mother and son laughed together.
At dinner, Shen Yunshu hadn’t returned yet. Shen Yunxing called him, but no one answered.
“How is it?” his mother asked.
“He’s probably busy. Let’s eat first.” He put away his phone, but he had a hunch that his future sister-in-law had called his brother away.
After dinner, Shen Yunxing accompanied his mother to watch TV in the living room before helping her to her bedroom.
**[Yunxing]: Mr. Fu, I’ve finished dinner. How about you?**
Back in his room, he messaged the man.
Less than two minutes later, he got a reply.
**[Mr. Fu]: I’ve eaten too.**
Even though it was a simple conversation, Shen Yunxing felt very sweet. Just as he was about to type a reply, another message popped up.
**[Mr. Fu]: Want to come out and watch fireworks?**
**[Yunxing]: Yes!**
He typed while getting dressed.
**[Mr. Fu]: Don’t rush, walk slowly, no running.**
Shen Yunxing, who had been jogging to the elevator, immediately slowed down.
Moments later, he exited the elevator and saw the person he wanted to see standing at the door. He instantly smiled happily.
“Mr. Fu!” He walked over to the man, flashing a bright smile.
The temperature was low at night. Fu Tingzhou touched the boy’s cheek, feeling relieved to find it warm.
“Don’t worry. I’m wearing thick clothes, not cold at all.” He said, opening his coat to show how many layers he was wearing inside.
“Alright, I got it. Now button up.” Fu Tingzhou chuckled.
“Mr. Fu, where are we going?” Shen Yunxing asked, puzzled, once they got into the car. Fireworks were banned in the city, and it didn’t seem like Mr. Fu was taking him to the suburbs. If the journey were more than an hour, Mr. Fu would have prepared snacks and a small blanket for him.
“You’ll know when we get there,” Fu Tingzhou said mysteriously.
Shen Yunxing became even more curious. He leaned against the car window, watching the familiar street scenes gradually disappear behind them. In just half an hour, the car slowly drove into a place he had never seen before.
It was a glass garden, about two stories high, with European-style decor and three European-style castles, one large and two small. On either side of the castles, various types of flowers were planted. Although Shen Yunxing didn’t know much about gardening, he could tell that some flowers had already passed their blooming season, while others hadn’t even reached theirs yet, yet they all bloomed vibrantly and beautifully.
He widened his eyes in amazement at the sight. This place was only half an hour away from his home, yet he had never known such a magical and dreamy place existed.
“Are you ready?” Fu Tingzhou asked, holding the boy’s hand.
“What?” Shen Yunxing asked, still dazed.
As they walked towards the castle, they suddenly heard a loud “bang,” and fireworks filled the sky before them.
“So beautiful.” He looked up at the sky, momentarily unsure if this was a dream or reality.
“Mr. Fu, aren’t fireworks banned in the city?” he asked, tightening his grip on the man’s hand.
“They’re not real fireworks; they’re holographic projections,” Fu Tingzhou explained with a smile.
“Holographic projections?” Shen Yunxing was surprised. He looked back at the fireworks in the sky and noticed the details. Though very realistic, some fireworks patterns were repeated.
“The preparation time was too short, so this is the best we could do. Next time, I’ll take you to see real fireworks,” Fu Tingzhou said, squeezing the boy’s slender fingers.
“Thank you, Mr. Fu. I really like it,” Shen Yunxing said, turning to the man and standing on tiptoe to kiss the corner of his mouth.
Fu Tingzhou smiled and wrapped his arms around the boy’s waist.
“This isn’t enough.”
With that, he bent down and kissed the boy’s lips, deepening the kiss.

At 9 PM, in the Sena-Marne Province residential area, Shen Yunshu returned home and found his brother wasn’t there, frowning.
That man named Fu, taking Yunxing out so late, what is he up to?
“Your brother went out with a friend and said he’d be back later,” Father Shen said, glancing at the clock on the wall. “He should be back soon.”
Shen Yunshu nodded. “Dad, I’ll go check on Mom.”
“Go ahead.”
In the bedroom, Mother Shen was leaning against the headboard, reading a book. Hearing footsteps, she looked up and saw her elder son, smiling and waving him over.
“Is everything resolved?” she asked.
Shen Yunshu nodded.
“Mom, I need your advice on something.”
Her son rarely looked so serious. Seeing this, Mother Shen put away her smile.
“What happened?”
“I have a good friend named Wei Yuexin. Recently, he told me he’s in a relationship and wanted to introduce his partner to me. But when I got there, I found out his partner is also a man.”
Shen Yunshu closely watched his mother’s expression but couldn’t discern anything.
“Mom, Wei Yuexin is gay.”
Hearing this, Mother Shen’s eyelid twitched slightly.
“What should I do?”
“What do you mean, what should you do? Same-sex marriage is legal now. Being gay is no different from being straight. Besides, it’s your friend dating a man, not you. Why are you worried?” Mother Shen said.
“Mom, you don’t oppose homosexuality?” Shen Yunshu asked again.
“No, I don’t.”
Hearing this, Shen Yunshu sighed in relief but then tensed up again.
“But you and your brother better not think about bringing a male bride home.”
Mother Shen shuddered, recalling the son of Old Zhang from their community bringing home his male bride. The sight of him with his heavily made-up face, red lips, and multiple ear piercings was still vivid.
He looked more like a girl than a man, and there was no sense of incongruity if he wore a dress.
“Mom, that’s a double standard,” Shen Yunshu half-joked.
Sensing something was off, Mother Shen stared sharply at her eldest son.
