- Chapter 78 - Meeting Old Friends
After playing a few rounds of games while trailing behind Shen Yunxing, Su Yin logged off. She needed time to process the fact that men could give birth.
How could men possibly have babies? They simply don’t have the necessary organs. Yunxing had been examined since childhood and didn’t even have a uterus. Where was the baby living?
After researching online, Su Yin discovered various examples of men giving birth. She felt like the world had become fantastical—men really could have babies.
Since men don’t have a uterus, the baby forms a protective membrane in the pregnant man’s belly that is similar to amniotic fluid. It’s a bit like an ectopic pregnancy in women. Hence, male pregnancies are very dangerous and require surgery to deliver the baby before it is full term. Otherwise, if the baby grows too large and puts pressure on the pregnant man’s organs, it could lead to both the baby’s and the man’s death.
After reading the information, Su Yin felt her scalp tingling.
Fortunately, Yunxing’s partner is Mr. Fu. If it were an ordinary person with less ability, whether he and the baby would survive safely would be a question.
Feeling a mix of emotions, Su Yin couldn’t help but post an update on Weibo.

The comments were lined up. Su Mom, who was knitting at home, sneezed three or four times in a row.
…
In March, the weather started to warm up, but unlike the south, the north still required attention to warmth.
At night, baby Zhouzhou woke up from hunger with soft whimpers.
“Mr. Fu, the milk for Zhouzhou is ready. Please hand him over to me; I’ll feed him,” Shen Yunxing said after preparing the milk powder and returned to the bedroom.
Fu Tingzhou replied, “Okay.”
He carefully took the little guy, who was grumbling with his eyes closed.
“Zhouzhou, be good. Don’t cry.” He said, placing the pacifier into the baby’s mouth.
As soon as baby Zhouzhou tasted the milk, he stopped crying and looked at the person holding him with curiosity.
“Zhouzhou, I’m your daddy,” Shen Yunxing said with a smile.
Zhouzhou remained expressionless: “Dum dum dum—”
“Little fool, you don’t even recognize your daddy after being born for nearly half a month,” he said, gently poking the baby’s chubby cheek.
Seeing the young man pouting at the baby, Fu Tingzhou couldn’t help but laugh. “Zhouzhou is still young. He’ll start recognizing people in a couple of months.”
“Really?” Shen Yunxing blinked and looked down at the baby, who was staring around with his big eyes. “Okay, Daddy was wrong about you.”
After feeding the baby, Fu Tingzhou took him back. “It’s still early. Go back to sleep. I’ll take care of the baby.”
Shen Yunxing shook his head. “Mr. Fu has been getting up at night to feed the baby these past few days. I haven’t been of any help.”
He slept too soundly to notice when the baby cried or needed changing. Today, since he had finally woken up, he was determined to fulfill his responsibilities as a father.
Seeing the young man’s sincere expression, Fu Tingzhou’s heart softened. He leaned in and kissed Shen Yunxing’s forehead.
“Alright, let’s both comfort him.”
“Mm.” Shen Yunxing’s eyes curved with a smile as he stroked the baby’s soft little hand and gently soothed, “Zhouzhou, be good and go to sleep. Daddy and Father are here with you.”
With the two dads’ company, baby Zhouzhou quickly closed his eyes and fell back to sleep.
The person recommended by Aunt Sun was Aunt Song, who only came to help care for the baby during the day when the couple was particularly busy.
When Shen Yunxing woke up the next day, Aunt Song was already there, changing the baby’s diaper.
“Aunt Song, did the baby wet himself again?”
“Yes.” Aunt Song skillfully changed the diaper.
Disturbed from his sleep, baby Zhouzhou kicked his little feet and grumbled. Shen Yunxing walked over to the crib, looked at the completely naked baby, and couldn’t help but smile.
“Oh dear, our Zhouzhou is naked. Aren’t you embarrassed?”
Zhouzhou: “Hmph—”
The baby didn’t understand his daddy’s words and was only focused on sleeping.
After changing the diaper, Aunt Song held the baby and patted him a few times. In less than half a minute, the little guy was asleep again.
“Little lazybones, just eat and sleep,” Shen Yunxing couldn’t help but say, looking at his son who fell asleep so quickly.
“Newborns are like this,” Aunt Song said with a smile. “Cherish these moments. As the baby grows, he’ll start to be more demanding.”
Shen Yunxing nodded, though he didn’t think Zhouzhou was a troublesome baby. He had been very well-behaved even while he was still in his belly, except for the time he was born; he hardly ever troubled him.
“Our Zhouzhou is a good child and won’t be troublesome to Daddy and Father, right?” Seeing Aunt Song take the diaper away, he kissed the baby’s clenched fist and said softly.
Mr. Fu had gone to work early due to company matters. After having breakfast, Shen Yunxing took his bag and went to Liuchunyuan.
【Xingzhou is a Good Baby】: Mr. Fu, I’ve arrived.
After getting out of the taxi, he informed Mr. Fu of his whereabouts.
Five seconds later, Mr. Fu replied.
【mon amour】: Be good. Call me before the gathering ends, and I’ll come pick you up.
【Xingzhou is a Good Baby】: [Okay~]
Shen Yunxing put away his phone and walked into the private room, feeling excited to see friends he hadn’t met for a long time.
“Hey, isn’t this the big star who came out of our dorm?” Xue Li, who hadn’t changed a bit since they last met, still loved to joke.
He took out two single portraits and called out, “Come help me sign these. My mom is a big fan of yours. Before I came here, she called me ten times asking me to get your autograph.”
“Don’t rush. Yunxing just arrived. Let him sit down, have some water, and rest for a bit,” Zhai Zilin said.
“Yeah,” Mo Yu agreed. “Yunxing, have this glass of water. I just poured it and haven’t had a sip yet.”
Shen Yunxing felt a bit uncomfortable with the excessive attentiveness.
“Thank you.”
“Ah, it’s nothing between friends,” Mo Yu said, his eyes fixed on Yunxing. As soon as Yunxing finished the water and set the cup down, Mo Yu immediately shoved a pen into his hand.
“Help me sign this. My whole extended family is a fan of yours, even my three-year-old niece is into ‘Drunk and Whispering Sleeve’ these days.”
Xue Li exclaimed, “Damn, Mo Yu, don’t you know the order of things?”
Seeing the two of them bickering, Shen Yunxing suddenly missed the days when the four of them were still in school.
“I can sign, but you know my status now is different from before,” he said leisurely.
Hearing this, Xue Li and Mo Yu stopped arguing, exchanged a look, and turned to him.
“One thousand per signature,” Shen Yunxing said with a smile.
“What? One thousand?!” Xue Li was so shocked he spat out his drink, “Why don’t you just rob a bank!”
Mo Yu made a face of disgust. “Ugh— You sprayed my face with saliva!”
Zhai Zilin facepalmed. These two idiots hadn’t changed at all.
“Yunxing, stop teasing them,” he said.
“Okay, I’ll give you a friend’s discount. Just pay one-tenth of that,” Shen Yunxing said with a smile. “But I won’t take the money. Consider it a gift for my son’s birth.”
Xue Li nodded. “Five hundred for a celebrity’s autograph isn’t too bad— Wait!”
He jumped up suddenly. “Did you just say ‘your son’? ‘Gift money’?!”
Mo Yu looked equally bewildered. “When did you adopt a godson?”
“Not adopted. He’s my biological child,” Shen Yunxing said, pulling out a photo of his precious son to show them.
“His full name is Fu Xingzhou, nickname Zhouzhou, named after the Noah’s Ark,” he couldn’t help but boast to his friends. “How cute is he? The doctors and nurses all said they’ve never seen such a fair-skinned baby at birth.”
The two of them leaned in to look. While the baby was indeed cute, seeing how much his features resembled Shen Yunxing’s made them sit back down in shock.
“Fourth Brother, you’re amazing. No wonder you didn’t come out to party during the New Year. Turns out you were tied down by a wife and kid,” Xue Li said, coming to his senses. “You’re keeping this from us? This is good news!”
“Because the baby is born from me,” Shen Yunxing said, fiddling with his fingers under the table. “I was worried you might not handle seeing me in that state well.”
Xue Li and Mo Yu were stunned.
“We knew you gave birth. The baby’s eyes are just like yours,” Xue Li said, confused. “And the baby’s from your wife, not you. What’s so hard to accept— Damn!”
Xue Li jumped up from his chair.
“Damn it, you’re saying the baby is yours? You gave birth yourself?!”
Mo Yu frowned. “Are you out of your mind? Fourth Brother is a man like us. How could he give birth?”
“Zhouzhou is indeed Yunxing’s child,” Zhai Zilin, who was the only one who knew the full story, said. “He’s the child of Yunxing and Fu Tingzhou.”
Xue Li and Mo Yu looked at each other, disbelief written all over their faces. They felt like the whole world had turned surreal.
Xue Li rubbed his face, unable to make sense of it, and decided to just assume the baby was adopted (Zhouzhou: ?).
“So, Big Brother, the Fu Tingzhou you’re talking about is the one I know?” he asked, grasping onto another point.
Seeing Zhai Zilin nod, Xue Li became excited again.
“Damn, Brother, you’re something else!” Xue Li gave Shen Yunxing a thumbs up. “Your coming out partner turned out to be the CEO of the Fu Corporation. Impressive.”
“Yunxing, are you with him willingly?” Mo Yu asked, frowning. “Or was it forced?”
“Of course, it’s voluntary,” Shen Yunxing called over a waiter and ordered more dishes. “Don’t worry, Mr. Fu treats me very well.”
Seeing that Xue Li and Mo Yu were still worried, he smiled and added, “Mr. Fu and I have met each other’s parents and got our marriage certificate. We’re legally married now.”
Hearing this, the two finally relaxed.
“Big Brother, you must have known already,” Mo Yu said, looking at the calm Zhai Zilin.
Zhai Zilin replied, “Well, I knew a few days earlier than you.” He mentally added, “Just over a hundred days earlier.”
After a while, the food was served, and the four of them chatted while eating, reminiscing about their college life.
“By the way, are you still playing ‘King of the Battlefield’?” Xue Li asked.
Zhai Zilin nodded.
Mo Yu said, “Haven’t played much recently. Why?”
Shen Yunxing put down his chopsticks and looked over.
“What’s up? The spring season is about to start,” Xue Li said excitedly, hitting the table. “Remember when we were in school, we promised to form a super strong team and become a big name in the eSports world?”
“Just you, a big name?” Mo Yu teased, “You were always chased to the toilet and had to wait for us three to rescue you.”
“Ah, we were young and dared to dream,” Xue Li said. “I just wanted to fulfill a dream. For me, I probably wouldn’t even make it through the preliminary rounds.”
“Bro, I have fewer classes. Let me join the team,” Mo Yu said, patting his shoulder.
Zhai Zilin added, “I’ll join too.”
So the three of them turned to Shen Yunxing.
“I have something to confess to you all,” Shen Yunxing said sincerely, looking at the three of them.
Xue Li slammed the table. “Confess? Alright, Fourth Brother, what else are you hiding from us?”
“The game ‘King of the Battlefield’ invited me to be their spokesperson. One of the contract terms is that I must play in a single-player and four-player team, making it into the Gun God competition and passing the spring season qualifiers,” Shen Yunxing said. “I remember our promise back then, so I wanted to ask if you’re willing to form a team with me to compete?”
The three of them were stunned for a moment, then came back to their senses and nodded vigorously.
“Of course! We’re definitely in!” Xue Li excitedly raised his glass. “Brothers, let’s toast to victory!”
“I’ll toast with milk,” Shen Yunxing raised his milk cup and smiled. “Mr. Fu doesn’t let me drink alcohol.”
Xue Li slammed the table again. “Damn, more dog food!”
The meal lasted nearly two and a half hours, and the four of them had a great time catching up.
They agreed to find time to game together and then went their separate ways.
“Damn, I saw that car again! Do you remember? It’s the global limited edition we saw in front of the school, and even the license plate number is the same!” Before leaving, Xue Li was drooling over a black luxury car parked in front of the restaurant.
After seeing off the others, Shen Yunxing turned and got into the limited edition car that had made Xue Li drool.
“Mr. Fu, why did you take this car out again?” he asked.
Mr. Fu disliked the car for being too flashy and had hardly used it except for necessary occasions.
“Your Brother Tang has wanted this car for a long time. It’s gathering dust in the garage, so I might as well give it to him,” Fu Tingzhou said.
“Give it away?” Shen Yunxing tilted his head.
Mr. Fu doing a loss-making deal?
Mr. Fu ruffled his hair and then saw a smirk at the corner of his mouth.
“I traded it for a piece of land in the west city.”
Shen Yunxing nodded. He knew Mr. Fu wouldn’t make a loss-making deal.
“Mr. Fu, let’s go home. I miss Zhouzhou,” he said.
“Alright, fasten your seatbelt.”
When they arrived home, Zhouzhou had just woken up and was being fed by Aunt Song.
The little one was incredibly smart. As soon as he heard the footsteps, he knew his two dads were back. He kicked his little feet and looked around with his big, dark eyes.
“This baby is too smart. Out of the many newborns I’ve cared for, there’s no one as smart as him. Just half a month old and he’s starting to recognize people,” Aunt Song marveled.
Actually, saying he recognized people wasn’t entirely accurate. Zhouzhou was just sensitive to sounds. He still couldn’t distinguish between his two dads and Aunt Song’s faces.
If anything, it might be due to the bond of blood.
“Zhouzhou, Daddy is back,” Shen Yunxing walked over and took the baby who had just finished feeding.
“Hmm—”
The little one was so small that he got tired right after eating. He didn’t have the energy to deal with a playful dad. He blinked his eyes and, snuggled in his dad’s warm embrace, made a few noises before falling asleep.
“Little lazybones,” Shen Yunxing kissed his baby’s milky-scented face with a helpless smile.
After burping the baby and putting him back in the nursery, he rummaged through a pink dress he had bought, holding it up to the baby.
He found the dress was too big and didn’t fit.
“Baby, you need to grow up quickly. Daddy bought you a lot of pretty clothes. Every day, I want to dress you up nice and beautiful, okay?”
“Sweetie, don’t you remember that Zhouzhou is a boy?”
Thinking of the pile of little dresses in the nursery, Fu Tingzhou couldn’t help but remind him.
“I haven’t forgotten. I’ll respect Zhouzhou’s own choices. If he doesn’t like it, I won’t force him,” Shen Yunxing said sternly, suddenly wanting a well-behaved little girl.
