Silent Lover - Chapter 165
Prince of North - Prince Zhenbei - Northern Garrison Prince are same person (Jun Xuanxiao)
Uliang Yu’s actions weren’t driven by lust but rather a deep thirst for revenge.
Back in the northern frontier, Jun Xuanxiao had nearly taken his life with a single slash. Though Uliang Yu survived, he was left with a gruesome scar across his face, and his right eye was destroyed, forcing him to gouge it out. Ever since, he had hidden his face behind an eyepatch, harboring years of festering hatred. This deep-seated grudge had twisted Uliang Yu’s desire for vengeance to the point of cruelty.
Now, the person cherished by Jun Xuanxiao was beneath him, completely at his mercy. This ignited a savage joy in Uliang Yu, a desire to utterly violate Shen Yu to settle the scores in his heart.
“Too bad Jun Xuanxiao isn’t here to see this. I wonder how he’d react to seeing his little treasure crying under me, haha—”
Shen Yu twisted his head to evade Uliang Yu’s hand and even lunged to bite him. However, his dizziness dulled his reflexes, and Uliang Yu was quick to pull back.
Slap!
“You little bitch! Behave yourself! You like biting? Fine, I’ll make sure you get your fill!”
Shen Yu’s face burned with humiliation. He looked at Uliang Yu with pure disgust.
Uliang Yu yanked off his belt in a few rough movements, revealing a grotesque object, and pressed it toward Shen Yu’s face.
“Stick out your tongue! Hurt me, and I’ll take your life!”
Uliang Yu barked, gripping Shen Yu’s jaw. Shen Yu clenched his teeth shut, gagging at the stench that made him nauseous.
“If you dare put it in, see if I don’t bite it off,” Shen Yu retorted coldly, struggling despite his exhaustion.
Uliang Yu hesitated, a chill running through him. He dared not gamble his manhood on this threat.
“Fine, playing coy, huh? You act so righteous, but how many times has Jun Xuanxiao had you already? Huh? You’re just a plaything who loves being dominated. I can make you feel so good you’ll forget all about him!”
Spewing venom, Uliang Yu began tearing at Shen Yu’s clothes, pressing his weight down on him.
“Get off me!”
Shen Yu pushed at him with all his strength, but Uliang Yu overpowered him. Tears welled up in Shen Yu’s eyes, despair overtaking him.
“Hahaha! That’s right, cry for me!”
Uliang Yu couldn’t wait to defile Shen Yu. Even if Jun Xuanxiao wasn’t here, just leaving marks on Shen Yu’s body as evidence of what he’d done would be satisfying enough.
Shen Yu’s vision blurred, blood from the wound on his forehead seeping into his eyes. Darkness crept into his consciousness. Just before he passed out, he felt Uliang Yu’s weight suddenly lift off him.
Is it Brother Chu here to save me?
Shen Yu couldn’t imagine anyone else appearing in such a moment.
“Urgh…” Uliang Yu choked, his neck seized in a vice grip. “Who… are you…”
“The one who will take your life.”
The voice was chilling, brimming with murderous intent, as though it came from the depths of hell. Uliang Yu’s one remaining eye bulged in terror as he clawed at the hand strangling him. In desperation, his hand found his blade, and he swung it blindly.
Snap.
His wrist was caught and broken in a single, decisive motion.
“Ahh—!”
Uliang Yu wanted to scream, but the crushing grip on his throat rendered him voiceless. Cold sweat poured from him as his arm was twisted grotesquely, the bones snapping audibly. It now hung limp and shattered in multiple places.
“I’ll… kill… you…”
Uliang Yu’s hatred flared even as he lay broken. He spat out muffled words, his voice hoarse and choked.
“You escaped me once, but not this time,” the cold voice replied.
Before Uliang Yu could process what was happening, he was kicked to the ground. His left hand pressed into the mud as he struggled to rise, only for his head to be stomped down, forcing his face into the dirt.
From the corner of his eye, Uliang Yu caught sight of the figure towering over him—a face he had hated for years. It was the face of Jun Xuanxiao, always arrogant, always looking down on him.
“You…”
Before Uliang Yu could utter another word, an unbearable pain shot through his lower body. Blood pooled beneath him as the very object he had boasted of moments ago was severed by Jun Xuanxiao’s sword.
“Ahhh!!—”
Uliang Yu writhed in agony, his eyes rolling back.
“Kill me… Just kill me…”
He couldn’t bear the humiliation. One eye lost, an arm shattered, and now his manhood taken—Uliang Yu had nothing left. Even if he escaped, he wouldn’t have the will to live.
Jun Xuanxiao’s expression remained icy. Considering Uliang Yu’s heinous deeds, death would have been a mercy. But after nearly defiling Shen Yu, there was no way Jun Xuanxiao would let him live.
With a forceful twist of his foot, Jun Xuanxiao snapped Uliang Yu’s neck. The sound of bones breaking echoed in the night as blood seeped from Uliang Yu’s mouth and nose. His body fell lifeless to the ground.
Ignoring the corpse, Jun Xuanxiao entered the carriage.
“Yu’er…”
He gathered the unconscious Shen Yu into his arms. Soaked to the bone and icy cold, Shen Yu showed no signs of further injuries beyond the gash on his forehead.
Jun Xuanxiao removed his own cloak and pulled Shen Yu into his chest, wrapping him in warmth.
