Slag Shou Cultivating Manual - Chapter 113
Chapter 113: Intimacy
On a sleepless night, Rao Chen tossed and turned, finally flipping out of bed and moving to the nearby caretaker’s bed.
He Lang’s breathing was shallow, his expression serene. His black hair softly framed his ears as he lay sleeping on his side, utterly defenseless, as though Rao Chen could do anything he pleased.
A surge of impulsive fire ignited in Rao Chen’s mind. Gathering his courage, he reached out to him.
He had never done anything so furtive before, and his heart was racing with an unprecedented tension. But it was undeniable that the thrill from such a risky act was exponentially more exhilarating. If not for the faint scent emanating from the other person stirring his emotions, he wouldn’t have done something so sudden.
He had considered the worst consequences. This man had a strong sense of pride and might be enraged by his brazenness. In a serious scenario, he might even cut ties with him, retaliate, and influence him in ways Rao Chen couldn’t afford. Rao Chen understood all this clearly, yet he couldn’t stop his actions.
He Lang was a light sleeper. As soon as Rao Chen’s touch came, his consciousness was already roused from slumber.
The hand roaming over him was unexpectedly coarse. He could feel the fresh calluses and faint scars on it. The movements were cautious, stirring a faint tingling sensation on his skin. He Lang couldn’t suppress a soft gasp and opened his eyes.
Rao Chen froze for a moment, internally crying out that this was bad. Half of his body, pressing down on the other man, hesitated whether to withdraw.
Yet, the anticipated anger didn’t come. The person beneath him, now at his mercy, seemed to have already sensed his actions. Instead of questioning his sudden move, he simply asked, “Why do you have so many wounds on your hands?”
Rao Chen was slightly surprised, completely unprepared for such a reaction. He was about to shake his head and say it was nothing but then paused.
Even in the darkness, the faint light in the man’s serious black eyes showed that these injuries mattered to him.
Rao Chen curved his lips into a smile and slowly said, “These past few days, my uncle’s been teaching me how to use a gun. The recoil is too strong, and I kept getting scraped during practice…”
After a pause, he added deliberately, “It hurts a lot,” as though seeking sympathy.
“…” He Lang frowned slightly, remaining silent.
Rao Chen keenly sensed the fleeting softness and hesitation in He Lang’s emotions, recognizing an opportunity to advance. Emboldened, he continued, “To achieve what I want, enduring pain like this is a given.”
He Lang agreed with this sentiment and nodded slowly.
“And what I want isn’t just the Rao family anymore. Now, it also includes you.” Rao Chen pressed on, his playful gaze sweeping over He Lang’s entire body, a predatory smile tugging at his lips, as though he was sizing up a feast that would soon be his.
In that fleeting moment, Rao Chen had decided—he wanted this man.
It was the first time he felt such uncontrollable desire for someone. And truth be told, this man was worth it.
If He Lang refused him, Rao Chen would wait until the day he became powerful enough to make refusal impossible.
The person beneath him was slender and frail. If Rao Chen wished, he could have his way now.
He Lang’s temple throbbed faintly. He couldn’t ignore the firm pressure against him and thought wryly, perhaps this is the fatal attraction between genders? Has this man never met an Omega before?
“Are you serious?”
Hearing the question from the man beneath him, Rao Chen nodded without hesitation, his expression dissatisfied. “Of course! You have no idea how tempting your pheromones are. These endless days and nights—they’ve almost driven me mad!”
He Lang chuckled lightly at his impatience, his ambiguous gaze sweeping over him. Licking his lips, he responded with a cryptic smile, “But you might go even crazier in the future. Are you sure you still want this?”
“I want it!”
Rao Chen’s eyes turned red as he stared intently at He Lang’s soft lips, his tongue dry. The last thread of restraint in his mind snapped completely. Taking He Lang’s lack of refusal as consent, his hand, already eager, ventured further beneath his clothes.
As his hand brushed over smooth skin, Rao Chen sighed in satisfaction, his movements growing bolder. He held He Lang tightly, lifting his shirt to his armpits and running his hands freely over his torso.
In the darkness, He Lang felt Rao Chen’s lips capture his. Expecting him to be rough and impatient, he was surprised by the tenderness with which Rao Chen licked and kissed him, careful not to be too forceful, pouring all his gentleness into making him feel comfortable.
Just as Rao Chen prepared to take the next step, He Lang stopped him in time.
Though Rao Chen felt a little disappointed, he had tasted a sweetness unlike anything before and knew he couldn’t rush things. Obediently, he stopped, and when He Lang coaxed him to rest, he lay down beside him.
Breathing in He Lang’s scent and hearing his low, soothing voice, Rao Chen felt utterly content, even dreaming sweetly.
When He Lang woke up amidst their mingled pheromones, he noticed the faint smile lingering on Rao Chen’s lips.
Unable to hold back a soft laugh, he wondered if Rao Chen was a fool, feeling so happy over a bit of kissing and hugging.
Last night, when he felt Rao Chen’s sudden surge of passion, he hadn’t entirely dismissed the idea of rejecting him. But seeing his determined eyes and irrepressible actions, He Lang allowed it, thinking it was likely just a hormonal impulse.
As someone who believed this was normal behavior for an Alpha discovering an Omega, He Lang didn’t mind. He simply played along, as long as Rao Chen didn’t make a fuss.
The person being stared at suddenly opened his eyes, a smug grin on his lips. “Am I good-looking?”
He Lang couldn’t help but laugh and nodded. His looks were indeed exceptional, which was why so many Alphas had proposed to him when they thought he was an Omega.
Rao Chen was very satisfied with his response. His eyes sparkled with joy as he wrapped an arm around He Lang’s neck, drawing them close.
Previously, whenever someone praised his appearance, he felt disgusted, assuming it was mockery or an insult. What good was being good-looking if it only served to attract Alphas?
But now, when He Lang said he was good-looking, he was overjoyed, his heart soaring. He even wondered if He Lang might like him a little more because of his face.
He nuzzled against He Lang’s collarbone, deepening the faded kiss marks and mumbling, “Lots of Alphas used to tell me I was good-looking and wanted to marry me… But it turns out I’m an Alpha, and you’re an Omega. No wonder I wasn’t interested in any of them, only in you.”
He Lang ruffled his hair, letting him do whatever intimate act he wished. Though endearing, Rao Chen’s behavior struck him as childish.
“You’ll meet other Omegas in the future,” He Lang said.
Rao Chen paused. As if it were that simple—he didn’t like just any Omega.
Before he could respond, He Lang had already contacted the caretaker to prepare breakfast for Rao Chen.
This thoughtful concern kept Rao Chen in an unusually good mood throughout the morning.
Their relationship had grown closer than ever. Last night’s passion had solidified Rao Chen’s belief that He Lang was his.
Pinching He Lang’s lean cheek, Rao Chen asked, “What about you? I get the feeling you don’t usually eat breakfast.”
“No need,” He Lang replied flatly.
He wasn’t in the habit of eating in the morning. As long as his body received enough energy throughout the day, it was sufficient.
Rao Chen shook his head disapprovingly. “That’s bad for your health.”
“I don’t mind,” He Lang said indifferently, dressing as he spoke. He had no intention of maintaining his body beyond its practical use, knowing it wouldn’t last more than a decade anyway.
Rao Chen’s face darkened. This man, a doctor, didn’t even care for his own health while taking care of others.
At times, He Lang was the most compassionate person in the world, yet other times, he seemed utterly detached, as if he didn’t belong to this world.
Rao Chen wouldn’t allow it. He wanted this man to live well and be with him always.
The doorbell rang. Rao Chen retrieved the breakfast tray and set it in front of them, his tone firm. “Even if you don’t care, I do. You have to eat with me.”
He arranged the bowls and dishes neatly, pushing them toward He Lang and insisting he eat.
Helpless, He Lang nodded and ate the finely prepared porridge. To his surprise, it was delicious and comforting, warming his empty stomach.
He couldn’t help but remark, “The cook in the institute, Jia Hui, has the best skills.”
Rao Chen wiped He Lang’s mouth with a napkin and asked, “Who’s Jia Hui? Can you tell it’s her cooking?”
He Lang chuckled and nodded. “Of course. I enjoy her meals.”
Being a convalescent hospital, the institute had a well-equipped kitchen
He arranged the bowl of porridge and the side dishes, pushing them in front of him, forcing him to eat.
He Lang nodded helplessly and ate the finely cooked meat porridge. Fortunately, the porridge was delicious and comforting, and he enjoyed it.
The warmth seemed to soothe his previously empty stomach, prompting him to sigh, “Only Jia Hui’s cooking is the best in the facility.”
Rao Chen, who was watching him eat, grabbed a tissue and wiped the corner of He Lang’s mouth, asking, “Who’s Jia Hui? You can even tell it’s her cooking?”
He Lang nodded with a smile. “Of course. I quite like her food.”
Since the facility was meant to care for patients, it had a large kitchen staffed by several people who worked diligently to prepare meals, soups, and nourishing dishes every day. Jia Hui, who had only been hired this year, was young but skilled, creating a variety of dishes. When He Lang stayed at the hospital, he often asked her to prepare his lunch.
Rao Chen put down his spoon. Even though the food in his mouth was delicious, he no longer had the appetite to eat. The person beside him was eating happily, and he should have been pleased. However, hearing him praise someone else filled him with displeasure.
After lingering for a while, Rao Chen prepared to leave, while He Lang headed into his office to work.
When lunchtime came, Rao Chen arrived on time, bursting into He Lang’s office with a lunchbox in hand.
He Lang looked up from the medical reports in surprise and asked, “Not going out today? Or did you come back early?”
