Summary
“Alphas? I can’t stand them. They’re revolting…”
Ji Hyou, an Omega with a rare and fragile constitution, lives burdened by both his unique body and the heavy shadows of his past. The scars of his trauma run deep—too deep for him to ever welcome the presence of an Alpha again.
But one day, through the gentle insistence of his best friend, Taeseo, he is introduced to someone entirely unexpected: Lee Seohee, a Korean-British Alpha who shines on the world’s stage.
A football star from the English Premier League.
A man born into wealth and adored by millions.
And yet—he flies across continents, only to meet him.
“I just wanted to come. Because I wanted to see you.”
Ten hours of flight mean nothing to Seohee when it comes to the boy who caught his eye in a single photograph. From the very first meeting, his kindness and sincerity pierce through Hyou’s guarded heart.
But to Hyou, the unfamiliar warmth feels both comforting and terrifying.
Why does this Alpha, of all people, make him feel safe?
Why does his pulse quicken, not from fear—but from longing?
The closer Seohee draws, the more Hyou’s carefully built defenses begin to crumble.
And for the first time, Hyou faces the most painful truth of all—
that healing can sometimes hurt more than the wound itself.

“Haa… haa…”
Hyou drew in a trembling breath.
His pale face had turned a soft shade of rose, the blush blooming up to the tips of his ears. The once-colorless lips were now full, glistening, their shape almost too beautiful to bear.
When his dazed mind returned, shame flooded him—he realized he had been lost, completely entranced, his lips moving on their own as though possessed. His heart pounded wildly with embarrassment.
He lowered his head, unable to meet Seohee’s gaze. But Seohee, as if to tease him, leaned closer and pressed another kiss against his lips—this time with a deliberate, audible “chup—” sound.
“Does your neck feel all right too?”
The words came out low and tender, almost a whisper, brushing against Hyou’s ear like warmth seeping into frozen air.
