Under the Dusk - Chapter 16 [H]
That night, Ji Yan had wanted to keep her there, but he couldn’t make her stay. It was past eleven at night, and Sang Wanning was still calling Ruan Shu.
Today wasn’t a night shift, and Ruan Shu knew that, so she thought something might have happened to Sang Wanning. Yet, on the phone, Sang Wanning remained silent, only to finally say that she was still at the airport.
“Which airport?”
Ji Yan was helping her get dressed. He had thrown her clothes somewhere earlier, and now, turning on the light to look for them, he found them under his pillow. Ruan Shu blushed, feeling even more embarrassed when Ji Yan took a wet wipe and cleaned the s*men off her inner thighs.
“Spread your legs,” he whispered softly.
Ruan Shu looked at him with hazy eyes, hearing Sang Wanning say, “Which other airport? Bai Cangling Airport.”
She had come to Kanyang.
If it weren’t for the late hour and the fact that Ruan Shu hadn’t answered her first call, Sang Wanning would have thought Ruan Shu might have already gone to bed and didn’t want to disturb her. By now, Sang Wanning would have been at her doorstep with her suitcase. But feeling upset and not wanting to wander around aimlessly, she was still waiting at the airport.
From her hoarse voice, it seemed she had been crying.
Ruan Shu told her to stay put and that she would come to pick her up.
The insides of her thighs were burning and slightly swollen.
When Ji Yan wiped her, he saw the l*bia that he had ravished, and there was a kind of beauty in the cruelty.
Unable to control himself for a moment, he turned his head and kissed her.
“Ah…” Ruan Shu was startled, her sensitive little h*le contracted, releasing more fluid.
His tongue licked over it and was swallowed into his mouth. Unable to bear it, she pushed her feet against his shoulders.
Ji Yan asked her, “Is it better now?”
“Mm.” Ruan Shu nodded lightly, seeing his manhood still erect. With the lights on and his eyes watery, she didn’t dare to look closely, only turning her head to stare at the floor by the corner of the bed, whispering, “Brother Yan, I have something to do, I might have to leave first.”
Ji Yan said, “I’ll drive you.” He had already taken his coat, fearing Ruan Shu would get cold in the car.
She hadn’t put on her underwear yet, so she went home to get a new pair.
Seeing Ji Yan leaning against the door waiting, her heart fluttered a bit, and she felt a little nervous. She walked over and said softly, “You’ve been drinking, you can’t drive.”
It’s a way of politely declining. Moreover, it’s so late, she didn’t want to trouble Ji Yan and didn’t even think about what Sang Wanning would think if she saw them together.
Ji Yan came over and grabbed her wrist, saying, “I’ve already been called a chauffeur, let’s go.” He wasn’t comfortable with her taking a taxi alone. He naturally took her hand, without any discomfort.
Ruan Shu’s head was still a bit fuzzy. It would take about forty minutes to get from the urban village to the airport. Ruan Shu rarely stayed up late, so she felt a bit sleepy in the car. Afraid that Sang Wanling would be anxious and urge the driver to go a bit faster, she asked the driver to speed up slightly. Sang Wanning didn’t just suddenly come over. She wanted to see Ruan Shu for a long time. Plus, after arguing with Qi Sizheng for the past few days, seeing him every day was annoying, so she simply came directly to Kanyang.
The night was thick, the area around the airport was desolate, and the dim streetlights were the only source of light. When Sang Wanning saw Ji Yan, she suddenly swallowed the words she had initially wanted to say, “I want to stay with you in Kanyang until school starts.” “Who is this?” she asked, not very kindly.
She had never met Ji Yan and didn’t know that this was the “not-so-easy-to-get-along-with neighbour” that Ruan Shu had mentioned, but the woman’s sensitivity and intuition quickly equated him with the “wild man who added her on WeChat.” Ruan Shu was about to introduce him as Brother Yan, but then she realized that she didn’t even know his last name… What a complete mess.
Fortunately, Ji Yan spoke up first and introduced himself, “Hello, I’m Ji Yan, Ruan Shu’s friend.”
“Oh, a friend…” Sang Wanling, still wearing sunglasses that only revealed her fair chin and red lips, with a small face the size of a palm, spoke in a faint tone that suggested she wasn’t easy to get along with, “Alright then, let’s go. Thank you.”
She dragged her suitcase to the back of the car.
Ruan Shu was just about to help when she heard Sang Wanning say, “Let him do it.”
Ji Yan didn’t refuse either, very gentlemanly, he opened the car door for them and got into the passenger seat himself. Sang Wanling had already booked a hotel while waiting for them to arrive, just follow the navigation. This late at night, she didn’t want to spend her first day squeezed into a small room in the urban village with Ruan Shu.
Due to the fact that Ji Yan still had a designated driver, Ruan Shu didn’t ask her why she suddenly came over. Sang Wanning obviously didn’t want to talk either, wearing an especially cold expression. However, she secretly took out her phone and typed furiously:
「Damn it! You brought such a handsome guy over? Did you guys drink? Is this a male model? You little rascal, have you gone bad at night? When did you go to a nightclub? Why didn’t you share this information with me.」
Ruan Shu: *sighs, thinking to herself: He’s not a male model. But she types and says, 「Isn’t it inappropriate for someone who just got dumped to say this? 」
Ling Bao: 「Who said I got dumped? I’m so beautiful, there’s no way I could get dumped.」
Ruan Ruan: 「Oh, then take off your sunglasses and talk.」
Ling Bao: “……”
After all, she couldn’t fool her eyes.
But Sang Wanning didn’t want to take them off, wearing sunglasses with an air of arrogance like a swan, even though her eye makeup was already ruined from crying.
When they arrived at the hotel, Ji Yan reminded them to be careful. Ruan Shu nodded and thanked him a few times. While Sang Wanning was checking in, she turned back.
Ji Yan looked down at her, “Still something to say?”
The shadow on the ground was cold and indifferent, but her heart was burning with passion. She somewhat complained that the streetlight was too close, and the shadow was too short, making it impossible for her to get close to him.
Ruan Shu felt embarrassed and said, “Um… just…” but she couldn’t bring herself to say it.
Still, Ji Yan bent down, reached out to touch her earlobe, and said, “Good night.”
Her cheeks flushed.
He kissed her eyes.
